Bruce Dickinson, born in 1958, is an English singer best known as the dynamic lead vocalist for Iron Maiden. Renowned for his operatic vocal range and powerful stage presence, he joined Iron Maiden in 1981 after early beginnings with pub bands and the band Samson. Dickinson was a driving force behind many of Iron Maiden’s classic albums, left the group in 1993 to explore a solo career, then returned in 1999, playing a central role in the band’s continued success with millions of albums sold worldwide. Beyond music, Dickinson is a licensed commercial pilot, entrepreneur, published author, radio and television presenter, and international fencer. He has also brewed his own line of beer.
