Charli XCX, born Charlotte Emma Aitchison on August 2, 1992, is a British singer, songwriter, and key figure in modern pop. Starting her career on Myspace and in London’s rave scene, she gained international recognition in 2012 with the hit "I Love It" alongside Icona Pop. Her solo breakthrough followed with the success of "Boom Clap" and her feature on Iggy Azalea’s "Fancy," both in 2014. Charli’s early work experimented with mainstream and punk-influenced pop, later evolving into more experimental electronic sounds in collaboration with PC Music. Her critically acclaimed albums include True Romance, Sucker, Charli, and How I'm Feeling Now, the latter created entirely during the pandemic.
