Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway is an American rock band founded by Daron Malakian, best known as guitarist and songwriter of System of a Down. The band released its debut album in 2008 before going on hiatus later that year. After several lineup changes and a period of inactivity, Scars on Broadway released their second album, Dictator, in 2018. Their third album, Addicted to the Violence, was released in July 2025. Throughout its history, the project has primarily served as a creative outlet for Malakian, who performs most of the music himself.
