Pavol Hammel is a Slovak musician, singer and producer born in Bratislava in 1948. Coming from a family of musicians, with his father a violinist at the Slovak National Theatre, he developed a strong musical background. After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Comenius University, Hammel gained recognition as a member of the group Prúdy and later built a successful solo career. He is married and has two daughters.
