The Celestion F12-X200 is a 12-inch ceramic full-range speaker engineered for amp modellers and impulse-response workflows. It reproduces the full audible spectrum from 60 Hz to 20 kHz, so the high-frequency detail baked into modeller presets reaches the player intact. A coaxial compression driver handles the upper register through a passive crossover, while the main cone keeps the moving mass and profile of a traditional guitar speaker. The result is a drop-in driver that delivers the feel and air-movement of a real cabinet behind any modeller rig.

What Sets the F12-X200 Apart from a Standard Guitar Driver

Most guitar speakers roll off sharply above 5 kHz, but the F12-X200 carries a built-in compression driver tied to the main cone through a passive crossover at 3 kHz. Celestion's Full Range LIVE Response (FRLR) approach uses a lighter, straight-sided paper cone so the driver pushes air and feeds back like a vintage guitar speaker. The coaxial layout also matches the off-axis dispersion of a conventional 12-inch driver, so the player hears the same tonal balance standing next to the cab.
