D'Addario NW050 Pojedinačna žica za gitaru

D'Addario NW050 Single Electric Guitar String — .050" Nickel Wound Replacement

The D'Addario NW050 is a single .050" gauge electric guitar string from the XL Nickel Wound series, designed as a replacement string or for players building custom gauge sets. This string features a round-wound construction with nickel-plated steel wrap wire, the same materials and specifications used in D'Addario's best-selling XL electric guitar string sets. The .050" gauge makes it suitable as a heavier 5th string or lighter 6th string in standard tuning, or for custom tuning configurations. As a single-string purchase, it allows guitarists to replace just one worn or broken string without buying a full set, or to experiment with hybrid gauge combinations.

Who Is This String For?

Ideal for electric guitar players who need a single replacement string in the .050" gauge range, the NW050 works whether replacing a broken or worn string without buying a full set, or building a custom gauge combination. Players who prefer the bright, articulate tone characteristic of nickel-plated steel round-wound strings will find it responsive with both single-coil and humbucker pickups across rock, blues, country, and pop styles. Guitarists experimenting with alternate tunings or hybrid gauge setups also benefit from being able to purchase specific gauges not available in standard sets. Manufactured in the USA at D'Addario's New York facility, this string carries the same quality standards as the full XL string sets.
