Astonished by this one star rating for a Dekoni pad. I have used them on all my headphones with good results, until now. Headphones are the Ayra Organic. I automatically ordered the pads when I bought the headphone, expecting that adding them would somehow make the Ayra sound better. Now,to be clear, the Ayra Organic sounded fantastic right out of the box, with good bass and no harsh treble with I was sort of expecting from reading the reviews. I had been listening to it for 5 hours and more without any fatigue. Fitting the Dekoni pads instantly eliminated the lovely bass and introduced a very harsh treble. After about 15 minutes I couldn’t listen anymore and switched back to the Hifiman pads mid song resulting in a return to the original beautiful sound. Still can’t believe it. To clarify my own hearing: I am elderly with age related hearing loss in my left ear and hearing damage and tinnitus in my right ear. However the brain adjusts, and I have never felt that any loss of enjoyment using headphones. Btw, both sets of pads were properly fitted.
