E-40, born Earl Tywone Stevens on November 15, 1967, is an influential American rapper from Vallejo, California. As a founding member of The Click and the creator of Sick Wid It Records, he has played a key role in shaping West Coast hip hop. E-40 has released 27 studio albums and gained wider recognition with his 1995 album In a Major Way.
