8-string multi-scale electric guitar from M series that provides the uncompromising playability and sonic power for which ESP is known worldwide. Multi-scale guitars make use of an angled fret arrangement to offer different scale lengths for the various strings of the guitar, allowing for optimal string tension, and have also been stated by many players to offer an ergonomic improvement for the fretting hand. This model has varying scale lengths of 685.8-647.7 mm and features a bolt-on design which uses a “drop top” of thick flamed maple bent over a lightweight mahogany back. It also offers a five-piece neck made of maple and exotic purple heart wood in thin “U” profile, with a Macassar ebony fingerboard that includes offset abalone dot inlays and 24 extra-jumbo frets. Fingerboard radius is 400 mm, width of the black bone nut fret is 54 mm. The guitar is equipped with a passive set of Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient humbucking pickups that were custom-made for ESP with a special angled design and pole spacing optimized for the multi-scale design. Sound can be adjusted by Volume control, Tone control with push/pull switching and a 3-way switch. Other features include a Hipshot multi-scale bridge, ESP locking tuners, black hardware and D'Addario XL140-8 strings (.010, .013, .017, .030, .042, .054, .064, .074). Natural Satin finish.
