Erik Francis Schrody, widely recognized as Everlast or Whitey Ford, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter best known as the frontman of House of Pain. He achieved solo success in 1998 with the album Whitey Ford Sings the Blues, which fused hip-hop and rock and featured the hit single "What It’s Like." Everlast won a Grammy with Santana in 2000 for "Put Your Lights On" and was part of the hip hop group La Coka Nostra from 2006 to 2012. Over his career, he has released eight solo albums blending hip-hop, rock, blues, and Americana, with his latest being Whitey Ford's House of Pain in 2018.
