It features a basswood body, legendary super-thin Nitro baritone three-piece maple/bubinga neck with road-tested durability an incredible playability, and bound rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets. The 28"/712mm scale neck ensures a full, rich tone and superior intonation for the heavier gauge strings a Baritone demands. Nut width is 45 mm, fingerboard radius is 400 mm. The guitar is equipped with two active humbucking EMG pickups with ceramic magnets – the EMG 60 in neck position that packs plenty of output with a balance of tones and is classic-thick with boosted mids, big lows, and fat highs; and the EMG 81 in bridge position that gives detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut, and fluid sustain. Special Killswitch provides the player easy access to a manually controlled strobe effect. The instrument also features the Gibraltar Standard II, a simple fixed bridge that was designed to unify with the guitar's body and provide optimal transfer of each string's vibration.
