Martin Adam Friedman is an American guitarist recognized for his work as lead guitarist of Megadeth from 1990 to 2000 and for his earlier collaboration with Jason Becker in Cacophony. He has released 13 solo albums and has made a significant impact in Japan since moving to Tokyo in 2003, appearing on hundreds of Japanese television programs. His music has been released through labels including Avex Trax, Universal, EMI, Prosthetic, and Shrapnel Records.
