Our Lady Peace is a Canadian alternative rock band formed in Toronto in 1992. Fronted by singer Raine Maida, the current lineup includes Duncan Coutts on bass, Steve Mazur on guitar, and Jason Pierce on drums. The band is one of Canada's most successful rock acts, with multiple Juno Awards and a record ten MuchMusic Video Awards. Their breakout came with the quadruple-platinum debut album Naveed and the hit single "Starseed". The band reached new heights with their 1997 album Clumsy, which is considered their signature release and achieved Diamond status in Canada. OLP continued their success with albums like Happiness Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch and Gravity, the latter marking a stylistic shift in their sound. Known for Maida’s distinctive vocals and a run of Top Ten singles in Canada, Our Lady Peace has released ten studio albums. The band remains active, releasing new music including their 2021 album Spiritual Machines 2.
