Sacramentum is a melodic black metal band from Falköping, Sweden, founded in 1990 by Nisse Karlén under the original name Tumulus. Known for their atmospheric and intense sound, the band released three studio albums and two demos. Their debut album, Far Away from the Sun, is regarded as a classic in early melodic black metal.
