The Ocean, also known as the Ocean Collective, is a German post-metal band founded in 2000 by guitarist Robin Staps. Their sound blends heavy, complex metal with atmospheric and progressive elements. Since 2010, Loïc Rossetti has been the band's lead vocalist, first appearing on the albums Heliocentric and Anthropocentric.
