Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, better known as Gunna, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Georgia. He signed to Young Thug's YSL Records in 2016 and gained recognition with his 2018 mixtape Drip Season 3. His collaboration with Lil Baby, Drip Harder, produced the hit single Drip Too Hard, which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified diamond. Gunna’s debut album Drip or Drown 2 hit number three on the Billboard 200, followed by his second album Wunna debuting at number one. He continued to find success with singles like Lemonade and albums such as DS4Ever, which also topped the charts, and A Gift and a Curse, which featured his top ten single FukUMean. In 2024, his album One of Wun reached number two on the Billboard 200. Gunna faced legal issues in 2022 in connection with a RICO case involving YSL, but was released later that year after taking a plea deal. Known for his melodic flow and fashionable image, Gunna remains an influential figure in contemporary hip hop.
