Pendulum is an Australian electronic rock band from Perth, formed in 2002 by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul Harding. Known for their energetic blend of electronic music and hard rock, Pendulum quickly garnered attention with their debut album Hold Your Colour in 2005, which became a staple in the drum and bass scene. Later albums, including In Silico and Immersion, showcased the band's evolution into broader electronic and rock territories. After a brief hiatus starting in 2012, the group reunited, releasing The Reworks and a series of EPs such as Elemental and Anima. Pendulum remains influential for their genre-crossing sound and dynamic live performances, with a new album, Inertia, announced for 2025.
