Two-channel all-tube 20W combo amplifier that represents an improved version of the model released 20 years ago, offering the same spanky blackface-style voice and the gritty tweed tones but combined with advanced features. It offers two footswitchable channels (Lead and Rhythm) that have been tuned for better-sounding overdrive, a smoother top end, and more harmonic complexity. The hand-wired board construction also improves midrange heft while improving the highs. On-board vintage-voiced spring reverb and tremolo effects with tube-driven circuits and old-school controls offer thick, splashing, pulsating tones. The combo is equipped with custom-voiced 12” ‘Tone King 33’ Eminence speaker with ceramic magnet and great selection of tubes including four 12AX7s, two 6V6s, one 12AT7 and one 5AR4. It also features the Ironman II reactive power attenuator with 6-step attenuation for even more flexibility. It allows for bringing maxed tube tones to band- or home-friendly levels – the combo will sound and respond the same at any volume. The attenuation can be controlled by Attenuation Level and HF Compensation controls and Rhythm Channel Bypass.
