The SmartPlug socket is connected wirelessly, it uses WiFi (2.4 GHz) to communicate with the phone, so it does not need hubs (Hub or Bridge) and you can also be connected to it remotely.

Create time schedules for your appliances
Do you go to work at the same time every day? Set your schedule so that, for example, the smart socket goes out when you leave. Come up with your original script for weekdays and holidays!
Or is your life colorful and every day looks different? Then you use a timer that turns off the appliance, for example, by half an hour or half a day, as you wish.
